Overview

The potential risks and benefits of bio-engineered products affect the public on both social and personal levels, and these effects differ in nature: Impacts in terms of human health, the environment, and ethics are the main points of disagreement between proponents and opponents. ABSPII strive to provide objective information on these potential risks and benefits. Most of the information on our website has been compiled by GEO-PIE, an educational project based at Cornell University, that focuses on providing objective information on agricultural biotechnology related issues.
