Akshat Medakker is a technology manager and a life sciences consultant with Sathguru Management Consultants. He holds a Masters degree in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Sydney, Australia and a degree in patent law from a leading Indian law school. Prior to joining Sathguru and ABSPII's South Asia Regional Coordination Office in 2005, he was associated with the University of Sydney as a research scientist involved in Molecular Microbiology research. Akshat manages the activities of ABSPII in the South Asia office and, as a Technology Manager, also focuses on a variety of technology transfer projects relating to the life sciences. He works closely with government organizations, bilateral consortiums and the private sector in building partnerships and facilitating commercialization of technologies. |
